I'm currently running the canned street tune out of a SCT X4, and am going to need to move my 5th wheel camper at some point next week. My plan is to tune back to stock for the pull as my camper weighs around 10K. How long should it take my transmission ect. to re-learn before I hook to that kind of weight?
drive it around the block a couple times, come home and hook it up.
The normal drive cycle does take it some time to complete, after you un-hook batteries. But for a tune change your not changing all of those parameters...
I typically let it idle after a return to stock for about 5 minute at operating temps. Then drive the truck for about 10 minutes to get the shifting down.
