Name that sound!
Much to my surprise, everything worked out pretty well and thanks to all that have asked questions in the past, and especially everyone that has provided expert guidance, I've been able to correct some of my mistakes and avoid making LOTS of others. THANK YOU!
After the 3G switch, I would occasionally get some squeezing that I figured was the belt and the fact that I'm only able to put 1 pulley on it. It would only squeal for a short time and generally only at low RPMs.
Until recently . . . .
I've been trying to get everything in fixed up for the goal of getting it inspected this Saturday ( first time in 2 years), but yesterday the squealing got ALOT worse ( but went away after an hour or so of idling and driving around the block). Now this morning, it's really starting to scare me and I've started to worry that maybe what I think is simply a belt, but something much more problematic.
Please watch this video and let me know what your "professional ears" have to say.
With the engine running, hold a bar of soap to the V side of the belt. Watch your fingers and don't try when you've been drinking. The soap will coat the belt.

If you suspect the smog pump, loosen and remove the belt to the air pump and then run the engine. I would not think the smog pump since after a while [video], the squealing stops. If the noise is caused by a bad bearing, most likely it will continue.
On this 2nd video, you do not show starting the engine. On the 1st video, the engine was quite difficult to start and the starter motor was used a good bit. This drains the battery and once started, the alternator works hard to recharge the battery. That puts a heavy load on the v-belt, which can cause slippage if everything [tension, alignment] is not correct.
Brnfree suggested removing the belts. Do that and start the engine. Do not run for long because the water pump will not be working. If there is no noise, then replace one belt at a time and you will soon determine what is making the noise.
Sorry, had to go get more beer

I tried the soap, no change.
Removed the belt from the Smog Pump and all seems well (for now).
Spent some time trying to get it to idle below 1K and see if I could lean it out a bunch as it's running VERY rich. MY EYES ARE BURNING!!!
Systematically turned the idle mixture screw and reset idle speed on linkage, back and forth, back and forth until the mixture screw bottomed out and still could not get it to idle below 1K. It was also running pretty rough at the time, but kept running. Decided that the running rich problem will have to wait and set the mixture screw back to where it smoothed everything out and brought the idle linkage screw completely out (not touching the carb at all) She's out there right now purring like a sewing machine.
By the way, I've spun the smog pump by have and it turns freely with no noise. Sure wish I could run two belts to the 3G, but the other pulley on the Alt would either have to go to the smog pump or the power steering pump. I need both!
Technically don't have to have a sniffer test here, but they are required to pass the eye test.
Yes, the started is yet another issue, but would like to address that after inspection. Plan to change over to a PMGR and have retarded the timing as much as I can to try and make it start easier, but still have those 3-4 HARD lugs before it gets into a more free spinning.
Gotta go back out anf check on the old girl to see if she's still idling!
Plan on going back out in a bit to see if she'll start (typically won't when hot) and if not, is my only option to do the PGMR conversion? Need to make this as reliable as possible, she's my DD. Need to be able to drive 10-15 miles to get to the parts/ beer store and be able to start her up when ready to come home (not 4 hours later).
What other things can I look into regarding the hot start problem?
