Flowmaster force II cat back?

Well the tailpipe has rotted off my 05 v10. I was thinking of going with the Flow master Force II cat back system. It utilizes the 70 series muffler. Anyone running this system? What are your thoughts. I am not looking for loud exhaust or big droning. The truck did that already around 40mph but wasn't bad. I use this truck to pull my 32ft camper so new system needs to have good manners for sound. I don't like having the loud truck in the campgrounds. Other than that hope to do plugs soon I am at 89k miles. Then a five star hopefully! I wanna wake this thing up. I was very close to going out and shopping hard for a new truck. I have talked myself out of it about a dozen times now! Lol. I just choke every time I think of being in hock for 40k plus. I just bought this truck a year ago so I still owe on this but nowhere near that 40k. So anyways I'm gonna spiff this baby up more and make her a beast. If I behave. Sorry long winded tonight! Thanks guys and gals.

Nathan

I would seriously think of something else besides the Flowmaster. I used a Dynomax Super Turbo 17792 on my 05. No drone and just a little louder than stock. Using a Jones Max Flow on my 02 and it is really quiet.

I will take that into consideration . Unfortunately muffler shop near me does not have a mandrel bender. Hope to hear from someone who has used this muffler or system or even the Gibson car back. The swept side system.

I did use the stock tailpipes. In your case this would work.

V10 man if I didn't know any better I would think you are in sales at dynomax! Lol either way I think you sold me on that cat back system after checking out dynomax website. Looks to be just as good as the Gibson or flowmaster. I will report back when I get it installed.

Check out this thread, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...questions.html . One of the guys has a FlowMaster 70 with a four-inch pipe and it seems like he likes it but is probably fairly loud.
