TPS Code

Can anybody help? I have a 93 XLT 4WD 139K original Miles. Started to get check engine light for TPS. I replaced TPS now it comes on a soon as I start truck. Never had any problems with old or new TPS . But Check engine light is going to drive me crazy any ideas?

5.0 or 5.8? Did you check the wiring harness condition for the TPS?

5.0 liter , How would I check the harness ? (this is my first Truck)

Just look for partially broken wires, or any worn wire coating. Have you ever made any adjustments to the throttle stops on the throttle body?
