Not going to lie...I have no idea who Martin Milner is and Adam 12 was going out when I was coming in to TV watching years. I'm more of the CHIPS era. lol

Nope, neither of those shows. I'm a John Wayne western fan but never much for the war movies.

Looks like a '68, a '67 and a '66 from left to right.

I was sad when I read about his passing the other day. I watched Adam-12 all the time when I was a kid. Just got through watching the entire series on Netflix. Being sort of a car guy I couldn't help but pay some attention to the different cars you'd see going by or parked in the background. Since it was filmed mostly on Universal Studios' lot, you'd see the same cars over and over. There was this one brown '67 Mustang that I started noticing a few episodes in, I think it made an appearance (or two, or three!) in almost every episode. In one, Martin Milner was even driving it.

I think back and the first year of the Route 66 show was when i fell in love with the early Vets. Years later when I turned 18 I worked in the Screen Extras Guild. I got to work on a few Adam 12's, background only. Nice Guy. RIP Buddy

According to a story in today's LA Times Calendar section, Adam-12 was filmed all over the Los Angeles area, not on a studio back lot. Many of the scenes took place in the mid-Wilshire District.

Been to LA a lot from '68 to '75 when the show ran. I could easily tell many of the locations where they filmed at. Its was mostly the interiors that were filmed at the studio.

There was a set built at universal back lot. It had a Back of police station, and an emergency room set as well across the alley. I used to sit and eat off the catering truck and wait to walk by in an LAPD uniform, paid an extra 30 a day to supply your own uniform
Those were the days 19 and dumber than a rock !
