95 windstar help
i am rebuilding my wifes 95 windstar engine and tranny, the engine is a 3.8 and the tranny is a 4 spd automatic. the van used to belong to her dad and it keeps me out of the house and in the garage. i am trying to find a site the caters to windstar owners. and find out what other motors will fit. the motor that is in it sat in the back yard for 5 yrs with a split radiator and a freeze plug out behind the flywheel. i have the engine tore down and checked it is ok and so far new freeze plugs and main and rod bearings so far the most expensive part will be the camshaft and timing is the engine worth rebuilding or should i get a good used one? same with the tranny

Dont know any websites, as for engine, I woul grab a used 1, as for the tranny....thats a big problem if I recall correctly it had the ax4s witch had many problems, used trans might be just as bad as what you have now.... last I knew tey need several upgrade parts just to give tolerable life...nearlly no good options on them....might wanna call a professional trans shop for more infof options
