Backup camera part numbers
Ordered a 5th wheel tailgate & camera mounting bracket for my '14 F350 SD.
Figured since I was spending the casino's money (I was extremely lucky a couple nights in a row
), I might as well order another camera & harness so I don't have to take the camera out of my regular tailgate....
now's where the trouble comes in.....
ordered camera FC3Z-19G490-B & Harness FC3Z--14A412-A (ordered from a
dealer online that ended up having the best prices)
now I get my tailgate & as I'm looking at the instructions for the camera mount, it states that I need camera 9C3Z-19G490-E & harness BC3Z-14A412-A
anyone have any ideas if the camera parts/harness parts are relatively the same IE: will still work? my google-fu is weak with this one & I can't seem to find any information on the difference between the part numbers for the 2 items
the plug is the same on the truck end & the other end of the harness fits the camera, so I'm wondering if I'm good to go & the part numbers are interchangeable...

I don't see a problem overall. The part numbers are for late model cams and a listing on eBay shows them for 2013-2016 trucks. As long as the camera fits the tailgate mount, you should have no problems

purchased a tailgate for 5th wheel. left the reverse camera back in original tailgate. bought the wiring harness fc3z-14a412-4a as the parts guy said i needed. bought a aftermarket camera. the color of the wires in the harness are violet-grey, white green, brown violet, black, black, grey violet. Cannot seem to find anywhere a wiring diagram to tell me what each are. DOES ANYONE KNOW OR HAVE A DIAGRAM. I have a f250 super duty 2015
