Yet another steering wheel install!

Seems like a popular upgrade as of lately. Big shout out to Jon (Sunline Fan) and his write-up! And his video skyping lol

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l-install.html

Found my new wheel after quite a few months of searching on eBay. It's from a 2001 Navigator I believe. The color combo does work quite well with the rest of my interior.

I will attest, I was there electronically!

The wheel does look awesome David, well done!! Just wish the old one came off a little more willingly.

HA HA! I find some sort of flip flop or sandal is mandatory in Hot-lanta. Of course it had to be 95 outside when I chose to do it!

Daggum Jon... your view was pretty good... I was worried with the sun you wouldn't see much!

Was thinking they even match the interior somewhat

Nice wheel!

Thanks LL!!

Let me know your thoughts on the SSBC kit when you get them on...I have been eyeing them for a little while... I waffle back and forth. My brakes feel solid, but being that I just bought Ex used...I like to know they are done, and with quality. I have done Wilwood kits in the past on cars...and have been pleased. They don't offer anything for the Excursion.

Awesome! I just did mine too!

Doesn't it almost feel like you are driving a new truck now?

I wonder how hard it would be to change the leather from gray to tan on one of these...?
