Replacing Bag Hook w/Ashtray
Hey guys...I searched and searched but didn't get the answer I need.
My Ex is a 2005, so it has the trash bag hook on the lower dash as compared to the ashtray that came in early Excursions.
I've found several of the original ashtrays for sale, and I know they'd bolt in..but how do I know if I'm getting the correct color. Meaning, did the grey lower dash colors vary from year to year?
Mine has the medium flint cloth interior, but I have no idea what the dash color is..or if it even would match the parts from earlier Excursions.

Open the drivers door and you will find a light blue sticker on it that has the VIN and all of the option codes for that vehicle. One of the headings will be "int tr", under it you will have a 2digit alphanumeric code. This is the trim code for your truck, the first digit identifies the trim type, the second is the color
