Wow! Just got out of ADC Varner Unit visiting my step-son. That was a very stressful situation. I just hope this experience will help him to be a better person when he hits the streets in 2019.
I had never been inside of a prison before and hope I never get beyond visiting. Needless to say security was strict and searches to get in are pretty thorough.
Heck yeah. I'm hoping for a fire sale on TDI's. Pick up a couple of them.
While I like the way your thinking...I'm feared it will be similar to when the 6.4L hit the market. All sales suspended until an "service update" can be installed. I can only imagine what they're saying over on the TDI forums...even in German I'm sure a dumb hick from Oklahoma could understand it. Something else I think is going to happen, any chance of seeing a come back for diesel powered cars just died with the VW; I figure the fuel mileage on those little fuel squeezers is going to tank trying to meet the insane mandates. Maybe I'm wrong, I hope VW proves me wrong. I just see a rerun of the GM 6.5L all the sudden.

The closest I've ever been to the wrong side of the bars...was years ago when the boy was active with Cub/Boy scouts. The troop took the boys to a local county jail to explain just what happens when you break the law. Pretty sure it got the message across to several of the boys in the troop.
