Just wanted to update on this post. It's been 5 years since I solved my 'insufficient EGR flow' issue at the intake elbow and the code has never returned. Got about 150k on it now and it's still runnin strong.

Glad to see that this forum is still running strong as well. it truly is a great place to learn, but as with anywhere else it's caveat emptor- buyer beware. But do your homework here before throwing money at your problem and you will keep some semblance of sanity when problems arise.
