Morning.

My lawn was turning to tumbleweed. I guess we need the rain. It looks like some type of rain for the next five days or so. and that's not connected to the maybe hurricane.

Poncho's are a good bet to be in your gear with the scouts. Wet is good with the scouts. Remembering rain soaked frosty flakes in those little boxes.

Yeah, I am definitely ready to go back to the high 60's we were having. This 80 and humid business needs to go away.

How's the truck hunt going, Kyle?

Enough rain today to turn a few spots on our jobsite to a pudding consistency.

Foreman buried a 135' manlift almost to the axles.

Yep, a bit on the chilly side. Highs in the mid-50s and low-60s for the foreseeable future. Not really looking forward to a PT test tomorrow morning, it'll be in the 30s.

Ram dealer almost closed the deal with me today. They called and offered another $1,000 on my trade. That beats Kelly Blue Book by $3,000 on the trade and TrueCar by about $1,000 on the sale. If I could have found the time to make it over there I may have done it. Perhaps this weekend I'll hassle the Ford dealer and play them against each other. I'd really rather an F150, but the Ram 1500 is an impressive truck.

I don't think you'd be happy with the build quality of the new Rams. I have yet to be in a new Ram that didn't have tons of wind noise. With all the windows and doors shut tight it sounded like there was a window slightly cracked. The dash feels somewhat cheap as well.

Josiah, I've found a few really nice ones, I almost feel like I should postpone the truck hunt and keep focused on my goal of getting some property next year instead.

I think the storm is coming, we are postponing out job until it passes, can't peel the chimney off of someone's house with this coming.
