In changing the underhood fuel filter on my 2014 Superduty F-250, 6.7 diesel- I broke the blue fuel line retaining clip on the return side of the fuel filter. This happened Saturday a.m. I could not find one anywhere over the weekend so I go to the local dealer first thing this morning. He has none , but looks up and finds on his computer that a dealer 45 miles away had the part I needed. SO, I call and they say they will hold it till I get there- and I provide the part number that my local dealer gave me. I drive the nearly 100 mile round trip and - OF COURSE- it is the wrong clip.


I can't find these anywhere on the internet and have tried all the local parts places. Does anyone know where I can order some of these?. They look to be about 3/8ths and are a C clip- not a round thing that inserts in the fuel line. They just push in and snap into place. I was able to thread some stiff aluminum wire through the fitting that is holding it on the connection for the time being, but I am sure I will need the clip before long. Thanks for any ideas/
