Question trans coolers

i have done some searching on here and i have found people saying to put the aftermarket cooler inline after the radiator cooler to further reduce the temp of the fluid. but, i was just at the be cool page, and they said put the cooler before the radiator, to keep from overloading the radiators capabilities... any thoughts? also, what if you don't have an aftermarket cooler? that doesn't make me have much confidence in their product... just some thoughts.

trans coolers

Since the air flowing over the trans cooler later flows across the radiator, you're not really reducing the load on the rad. It basically doesn't matter if it's before or after - just increasing the total surface area helps reduce the load on the transmission, so if you tow, add one.

trans coolers

thanks steve.... i was kinda thinking the same thing. more surface area, and increased oil capacity are the two big points i guess...
