I have a 59AB motor that came out of my ’38 One Ton truck. I was going to have it rebuilt and use it, but in the mean time I managed to find the specific motor that actually belongs in the truck. I already have the 59AB motor completely apart and have had some work done on it (all professionally).The block has been maged and pressure tested and is good. The current bore is approximately 3.18” in all cylinders. The cylinders will need to be bored out slightly further. The heads have been maged and are good. The crank has been bead blasted, maged and reground .010” on both rods and mains. I have the connecting rods and pistons, cam shaft, oil pan, covers, gears and all of the other pieces with the exception of the valve train (valves, guides, springs, etc.), bearings and flywheel. I have receipts for work done. I would need to get $644 just to cover costs and a couple of dollars for the parts. I’m looking at $699 total. I have many more pictures if you’re interested. I will consider selling parts separately.
