Arrow 2012 SD Rear suspension blocks

Hey all. I have a quick question, but thinking of changing out my stock OEM rear axle blocks for the 2012 F350 SD 4x4 SRW type.

Does it matter what the wheelbase is?? Model being a CC, SC, etc?

Or...are all 2012 F350 SRW rear axle blocks the same??

Thanks,
biz

I think there are different ones for the different wheel bases to keep the pinion angle correct. Some are tapered and some are straight.

If the block numbers have not changed there are two different versions based on wheel base length. See thread below for which part number's you need.

I swapped in the ready lift 4" blocks into my 2012 f250 cc sb 4x4 and they work fine. Truck sits good, looks way better loaded and has no funny vibes. I have yet to swap shocks or sway bar links with no issue.

F350 blocks are 3.5" while F250 are 1.5" totaling a 2" gain in the rear.

It doesn't look quite this bad in person, i think the camera is exaggerating the sag a bit.
it sits just about level when unloaded.

What year is your truck? It appears from a quick search that at some point all trucks started coming with the 4" blocks because of the sag. What year is your truck? How does it feel towing like that with the nose high?

My truck was built in February and does not have 4" blocks. It did sag under load. The dealer offered to put in the appearance kit which included a new drive shaft for free. I declined that because the truck in new and I did not want future problems from the modification. I installed StableLoad wedges and the sag is gone with the ride improved under load. The sag is due to the gap left between the spring stack and the helpers. The gap is there to make the unloaded ride comfortable.

It is a 2012. It tows that little trailer awesome, I can hardly tell its back there.

Like I said, I think the panoramic lens of the cell phone camera is exaggerating the sag.

I will look this afternoon to see what blocks it has.

heres some before and after of my f250 with the ready lift 4" block kit. Factory f350 block is 3.5" but you can't notice the extra half inch. I've since adjusted the hitch and the truck sits even more level now.

Thanks everyone for the replies!! Really appreciate it.

I'm going to perform the Tsb 13-3-8. That is the Tsb that addresses rear sag with light loads. However, I cannot find the actual Tsb.

Can someone point me to the Tsb?? I'd like a copy before I walk into the FORD dealer to purchase the parts.

Thanks!!

There are three different blocks depending on the wheelbase. This is the tsb you are looking for with the necessary part numbers.

I'm about to do the same thing to my F250.

HERE in the TSB.

I also looked at this 4" block hit from 4WheelParts - Pro-Comp 4" Kit. Not sure if we need the EXP62244 or EXP62242

Haven't price out the Genuine Ford Parts vs Pro-Comp yet though.

Keep us (me) posted on what you decide. I sadly wont be attacking this project for a couple weeks or more.
