Hi,
I am replacing the rear leaf spring bushings
I have removed four inner sleeves and rubber sleeves so far. However I cannot easily get the out sleeves of the old bushings out.
The only thing I can think of is to drive a chisel between the sleeve and the spring. Its slow going though. Is there a better way?
I've used an air chisel to do it, last time I cut the sleeve on the inside with a sawzall just enough to weaken it but not enough to cut completely through. Then a chisel and hammer makes short work of it

The outer sleeve and the inner bushing (5781 in pic) is a one piece assembly, but may not come out as such.
I usually take a torch and burn the rubber part out till it falls out in a fiery blob. Then for that outer sleeve I do like what was already mentioned and use a sawzall. I make 2 cuts usually the width of the chisel. Once that piece comes out I wreck the rest of it with a punch or chisel.
The problem is you're replacing them too early wait until the inner and outer bushing is worn away and the bolt is all that's left in there for the most part and it will all fall out when you change it
