drawer under driver seat

can i use a passinger seat pedestal on the drivers side so i can have a drawer on both sides?

Maybe, but the passenger seat has no fore-aft adjustments.

no, the passenger side pedestal has a different curvature and a different height.

the driver's side pedestal has a cutout on the emergency brake side, the passenger side pedestal does not have it.

I already tried it.

however, if you find an early Aerostar, 1986-1989, they had the drawer under the driver's seat.

In 87 that must have been an option because mine doesn't have any drawer.

my '86 had it under the driver's seat and it had a lock that opened with the ignition key.

if it didn't have it originally, it won't fit, keep looking, you will find the right pedestal.

the problem is finding such an early Aerostar, they've all been crushed by now. But they are out there, on a field, abandoned, somewhere.
