Shocks inquiry ?
Did the Monroes soften the ride, didn`t make it to spongy did it ? & Want did they run ya ? I`ll install them myself, did you run into any problems ? (i`am like you , i very rarely let anyone touch my ride)

The Monroe's made a huge difference. Softened the ride, but not enough to make it feel spongy. I think they were $20 a piece, but its been a while, so I don't remember now.
I still have them on the front, but have adjustable air shocks on the rear since I lowered it. They help on the towing of my trailers...
