Hey all! I'm a high school science teacher up here in the northeast. Just got my first classic vehicle with the 65 F100, to be my daily driver. I have big dreams for it that clash with my budget, but hopefully I can do a few small projects here and there. Glad to be here!

Welcome! I think most of us have to learn to balance our dreams with the reality of a budget.
And remember, never mix bleach with ammonia. You may experience permanent

Yes, know your chemical mixes, very important in the chem lab.

My long term plan is to get the pickup where it is ok, then get the mustang, then give the pickup a full restore, but that's a ways down the road!

I have nothing now, I will have someday a 67-68, that's the plan anyway. I love the looks of the ponies

Looking for a coupe, or fastback? I'd love to have a fastback! Our coupe is really nice, though. Here is a pic.

That's a nice car! I'd love a fastback, but for the cost, I'll most likely end up with a coupe, my lottery car would be a 67 shelby fastback

Thanks! Yeah, I'd be happy with that Shelby also! A guy here at work has a 68 GT-500 sitting in his garage. Hasn't driven it in years. I ask him all the time when he's going to sell it to me. Problem is, one day he may say yes. How will I explain to the wife that we have to sell the house, so I can buy that Shelby!

Oh, and it's sitting idle, next to a 57 T-bird, that hasn't been driven in years. Just so wrong.....

I know, just breaks my heart. I'm supposed to go over and see them here sometime. I have one car that I need to get working on also. My brothers and I also have our mom's 39 Ford coupe deluxe. It was restored by my later stepfather and I. Just needs some minor stuff to get it road worthy.

Welcome to the madness!
I grew up with a '66 F250 stepside. Still love that body style but always wanted a '67 - '72 shortbox.

I was looking for a 67-68 stepside, but they are tough to find around here. I found the 65 and liked it, so that's what I've got, it's a fun truck

I really like the slicks. Those would probably be my choice, after the 67-72.....and the 56.
