Hey, im restoring a 65 F-100 and was wondering if i should use POR 15... i just dont know what to think of it. It almost seems too good to be true by what they say about it... thanks for any info

Take a look in my gallery. I'm working on a '77 F150, one winter at a time. I'm using POR 15 products and I'm beginning to think they are bullet-proof. Most of the prep work, especially the frame, was done with an angle grinder and a wire wheel. I had the underside of the bed sandblasted and used a do-it-yourself rollon/spray-on/brush-on bed liner from Wal-Mart. Both the products, POR 15 and the bed liner are polyurathyne(sp) based products and work well. Bottom line here is POR 15 products are a bit pricey but I believe they are worth the price. Also, FOLLOW THE DIRECTION FOR THE PRODUCTS!!!!

Hey Kent - Welcome to FTE & the Bodywork Forum.
We're also using POR-15 on our project truck and just about everything else Steve's fabricated or fixed. Do a search of this forum and you'll find a lot of info on the stuff.
