Here is how to post pic's on FTE

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ure-guide.html

Here is one way by "Axracer"

Do you have digital pix of your truck from digital camera or phone on your computer?
If so it is easy to add them to a post (assuming the file is not too large). Find the
pic on your computer and leave it open while you come here in another window. Compose
a post, click where you want the pic to appear in the post. Click on the picture icon
at the top of the posting box (looks like a postcard with mountains and sun) A dialog
box will open asking if you want to drag a pic onto the box or browse your computer to
find it. If you have the pic open, go there, right click anywhere on the pic and chose
copy from the menu. Come back to your post and right click on the box. Select paste from
the menu. Your picture should appear (it may take a few seconds to load) in the box. Now
left click on the insert button.
If the stars all aligned your picture should now be in your post window. Select post to
have it appear on the forum or repeat to add more pix. Some cameras make huge files these
days that are larger than the forum limits. You may need to resize or resample the picture
and save the smaller file version with whatever picture editing software came with your
picture taking device before you can post it.

If you are a supporter than just right click on an image from anywhere like Facebook
or whatever. Than left click in your post and paste it in. So simple even a monkey
could do it.

Oh! and welcome to FTE and the old truck madness.

Most phones and digital cameras today take bazillion pixel picture files, and save them in a proprietary format. If your camera/phone didn't come with some sort of basic photo editing software then there are a number of good free editing programs that will allow you to resample the photo and save in a common format. Try resampling it at 1280x1024 pixels size, 72 -75 dpi, and do a save as or export as a .jpg file type compressed to 50% with 10% smoothing and save to a special directory i.e. pictures reduced for posting on your hard drive for pictures you want to post. Change the file name to something meaningful like truck side view reduced, rather than a a long string of cryptic numbers to make it easy to recognize. Select the desired pic to post from this directory. If you don't know any other way, try emailing them to yourself at a second email addy then do a save attachment. This may reduce the size and change the format automatically. Once you have done this it is real easy to add them to a post: just click the insert pic icon where you want it in your post (the rectangular icon with sun and mountains on it) choose browse your device, find your special directory (I'm assuming you are posting from the same device you have them stored on?) select the picture file, click open and the picture should appear in the selection window after a few seconds. If all is good, click insert at the top of the window. The window should close and your pic appear in your post preview window, ready to post.

open the picture in photobucket and right click in the picture, select copy location from the drop down list (left click it). Now go to you message post box put your cursor where you want the pic to appear and click the insert pic icon (yellow box with sun and mountains). When the insert pic screen opens, click in the url box, hold down the control key and tap the letter V key once. (paste command) your picture should open in the preview box. If it is correct, click the green insert button and you picture should open in your post preview. Finish your post as usual:
This is a horn relay.
