Steering wheel partially blocks speedometer
I've owned a 91 f150 for 2 years now with a peculiar problem. When I sit in the drivers seat, the steering wheel blocks part of the speedometer. The arc from 25 mph to 65 mph is blocked by the steering wheel. Its as if the steering column is a tilt unit, but this truck does not have a tilt steering wheel. Any suggestions? But the way I'm 6'1 so height is not the problem.

Are you sure it doesnt have a tilt wheel ? The reason I ask is because I recently worked on a 90 F150 , I got it to do some interior work , I pushed the turn signal lever forward & raised the wheel , The owner had no idea he had a tilt wheel & had owned the truck for a few yrs . He had never thought about pushing the turn signal lever forward to use the tilt wheel . He thought it should have a seperate lever to operate the tilt . Just a thought .
