Rear Lift Gate Weatherstripping

Every time we get a hard rain, I end up with water on my carpet right at the rear of my Excursion. Anyone else have this issue? I'm thinking the weather-stripping has broken down. Anyone know of a source for it? All I can find is door weather-stripping. Thanks!

I haven't looked for the X, but I got some for my older truck from LMC truck parts. They fit (mostly), but seem like they're not going to hold up well... I'd look elsewhere.

Check where the water is coming from. Some members have had leaky roof rack screws. I had a different problem with the rear window leaking.

Mine is so bad it has rusted a hole. It is at the right, rear corner. I need to pull the side panel and carpet out to see how bad it really is, but so far I can see the ground where it has rusted out so bad.

I just got mine from my local Ford dealer. Prepare for sticker shock.

Has anyone tried using Trim-Lok in place of the rear door/hatch weatherstripping? The OEM at $175, it's a big pill to swallow. Make that $192 with tax & shipping. Ouch! I just ordered the OEM.
Part number 2C7Z-78404A06-AA

Did you guys buy this part for the rear of your EX?

I want to be sure this is the entire surrounding seal for the rear. There are no measurement specs on any of the sites.

The bottom of mine is all chewed up. $161.63 on Tasca

If I remember correctly, I bought mine through a dealer advertising on Amazon. Yes it was the OEM part. I found on Tasca, they over charge for shipping.

I replaced the weatherstripping mentioned with OEM but it was not the source of my leak. It ended up being the seal on the hatch glass. All but one piece of weatherstripping is original on my EX. Luckily the obsolete one is still in good condition.
