standpipe / dummy plug question
so i'm replacing the hpop, ipr, icp, oil cooler and a bunch of other things on my truck ( 2007 Ford F-450 6.0l ) cause I had a no start when hot condition so I figured I would just do it all in one shot and get it out of the way.
well after all of it was replaced I did a pressure test on the high pressure oil system and still had a small leak so I popped the valve covers off and pulled the dummy plugs and ( front and rear ) and the rear ones didn't have the standpipes on them ??
has anyone ever ran in to that before ??. I've done a ton of work on these 6.0l's ( I'm a master certified technician ) but have never seen one of these without standpipes? someone has been in there before me and replaced the dummy plugs ( they were the 12mm plugs and the seals were torn so that was probably my leak I had cause it wasn't a very big one ) but the rear were the 10mm with no tubes attached and they aren't down in the motor.
Any info is appreciated
Thanks.
