Cant Pull Codes
***Note: Cross posted on other forum. - trying to get as much info before I get some so i can work on it tonight***
1993 5.0 E4OD
Driving home tonight sitting at stop light about .5 mi from house started getting very rough idle, check engine light came on and engine died.
Put in park started back up Check Engine light is on.
Seemed very sluggish and just not running good. OD On/Off button will not work(light stays off) Nursed it home.
Tried to pull codes and CEL stays solid. Disconnect battery, then reconnect and try to pull code and self test starts but doesn't finish. I hear like a fast electrical short sound and CEL flickers. Then CEL stay solids.
Self test will not start again unless I disconnect battery. Rinse Repeat. Self test never gets going.
Darkness and Thunderstorms stopped my troubleshooting.
Does start and shift into drive and reverse.
OD on/off button does not work with, I was able to get a KEOR test to start and OD on/off button worked during that test.. No codes during this test....

Got computer out and opened it up..... Think we might have found the problem.
1993 Ford Bronco pictures, photos, videos, and sounds | SuperMotors.net
Then the T-storms started and had to stop. Couldn't get other computer in yet.
Will have to do tomorrow after work.
