For anyone wanting to do cab lights here you go. You'll have to do your own wiring harness, but the lights come with the plugs and aRe ford replacement lights. And since the factory harness is no longer available, I thought this was the best option. $44 shipped.
Well, my cab lights came in today, and like a kid on Christmas I couldn't wait to play with my new toys. 6 hours later and this is how she sits:
For anyone curious, I used emotoman's guide (for the most part) I ended up putting the hole centers 8 and a half inches from the rubber on the windshield so they would sit flat.
I'm getting a brush guard from a super duty next week that I'm pretty excited about, but I want some opinions about the running boards. Should they stay or should they go? Sound off!
Well my tune up is complete. Oil change, fuel filter, new plugs, and 1 new coil pack. I'm not quite sure how this truck would even start, given the condition of the old plugs:
And on top of that, plug wells 2-5 were full of oil, I'm guessing bad valve cover gasket? It smokes now since the oil ran into the cylinders, but I'm assuming it'll stop once I romp on it a little bit.
I replaced my ball joints finally, and it's a good thing I did because there is no way the 4x4 would have worked. All of the seals were shredded. Now I should be set for snow! Not a terrible project, but it did take a while.
The bad news, my drivers. Side caliper is frozen and there is no saving it.
