2012 F250 6.2L Weird Noise, Dealer has no idea.

So After a fun trip up to my cabin on the way back I started to hear this weird whinning noise when I went faster than 55 and the faster I went the louder it got. I sent the truck into the dealer for a maintenance check-up and I told the guy I was talking with about it so he had me take a technician for a drive and made sure he heard the noise and he confirmed that something was wrong. My truck was at the Ford Dealer for two weeks (PCM broke and wasn't replaceable I guess) and when I got my truck back the noise is still present and now makes the noise if I go over 35. Funny thing is when I talked to the a representative guy he said he had no idea about a noise even though I watched him type the notice up twice, plus I took a tech guy for a ride so how the hell can they deny that I never told them about a noise issue. Anyways My friend and I think it's something electrical but we don't have a clue, we were gonna unhook my headlights, and my light bar and see if that makes a difference. Please any info on what could be wrong would help!

I had this happen on my 2012 F150 Larait 4x4 with the 6.2L. It was during winter. It went away after about 200km. No one could figure it out on my truck either! After that and 25,000km later iand tell I sold it, it never came back. It sounded like it was close to the firewall on my F150, to jsut around the tranny bellhousing area. On my F250, 48,000km and no sound.

Thanks for responding, Vin Diseal. I'll arrange for your regional customer service manager to give you a call; they'll work with your dealership on getting this resolved. To make that happen, send me a private message (PM) with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.
