Gauge Removal

I am taking my 47 in for sandblasting and need to get the gauge cluster out.

I am sure its simple, but I don't want to mess anything up.

How is the gauge cluster mounted?

Disconnect the speedometer cable and the wiring harness going to the gauges. The ammeter wire will need to be disconnected at one end and the wire slid out of the loop. The other gauges will have a jumper wire going between them, that wire can be left on the gauge panel. Finally the gauge panel is held in with nuts and removes out the back of the dashboard. Taking the seat out makes for a lot more room to do this (you may have the seat out already if you are sand blasting).
