Volt gauge died
So for the last week my volt meter has just quit working. So far no problems with the charging system. I had checkers check the alternator and they said it did so it is having a charging problem but so far other then the gauge not working i haven't noticed anything. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I've had two gauges fail so far. The very fine gauge magnet wire breaks off where it's soldered in.
If that's the case and you can solder well it's possible to repair. The magnet wire insulation melts off with persistence with the iron and then can be soldered in place.
Make sure you don't lay the gauges face down or the damping silicone oil in the gauge will run out the front.
