Air bag light

On my 2004 Ford Escape. The air bag light blinks when turned on 46 five times before starting lit. What she's this mean?

LFC 46 on an 04 Escape means there's an electrical fault with the driver's side seat belt pretensioner.

Also, there is a TSB for faulty connectors under the seats. I think the fix is to replace the connector harnesses.

Easy check for the connectors.
Unplug the connector, turn the key to "ON" (not start) count to 10.
Key off, replug the connector, then start the vehicle.

This seems to "reset" mine for a while... a short while....
If anyone knows a test procedure for the pre-tensioner, I'm sure we're all ears.
