This will sound crazy for 2 reasons. 1. I know theres a fuse for it but can't seem to find it. 2. Its never something so simple as the fuse anyway. But my wipers aren't working on my 87 F-150 and I was taught to check the easiest thing first. Anyone know where the fuse is? I don't see it on the diagram under the steering wheel, and am unaware of it being under the hood. Anyone with any idea would be great
It's been awhile since I've owned this kind of truck but I only remember 2 speeds. I don't get anything. I am getting a test light tomorrow. But nothing works. Even the washer fluid spray doesn't work.
wipers turn one way, delay turns the other way. i want to say turn left for delay and turn right for delay.
it is very possible the switch is unplugged, or the wiper motor is bad or unplugged
According to my '87 Bronco owners manual there is a 7Amp circuit breaker for the wipers/washer on the wiper switch.
FYI: if you have delay you would turn the switch counterclockwise and then adjust how much delay. Turning the switch clockwise turns on low speed and the high speed. Pushing in on the **** turns on the washer pump but not the wipers.
