Nice! So what's the plan Stan? I'd recommend building the 351m into a 400. Bore the block and pick up a rotating assembly from Tim Meyer. Once the low compression and camshaft are corrected they really wake up.
I just completed a long box 2wd build, link in my signature if you're looking for ideas

That's one sweet truck! I like the paint, is that Tangerine? I like orange but I don't think it would match my red interior.
I'm swapping in a 351W. I thought about rebuilding the old Modified and getting the Tim Meyer rotating assembly but since I had a 1992 Windsor short block sitting around I decided to rebuild it and swap it in. Although now I'm finding I probably won't be able to find any long tube headers for my application.
Drove to Virginia to pickup a different bed this weekend. Not a perfect bed but better than what I had. Bed floor and supports are in good shape but the wheel wells will need replaced and wheel arches need patched.
It's been awhile since I lost posted on here, or worked on the 78. I pushed it into the garage and started on it again this past fall. I started in the cab and cut the rusty RH floor pan out and welded the new one in.
It was in decent shape to begin with, except for the bed and both doors. They're shot. I still have something good to work with. I did not plan to take it this far but one project lead to another and the next thong I know I'm down to a bare cab! I also love the interior in the old dentsides. I used to have a '71 and I really like it's interior also.
