OBD2 question
I have an Edge Evolution on my 2004 Excursion and wanted to install a Direct Link break controller. That would require a splitter for the OBD2. Once installed and the engine started the Edge went directly to Alert and set a 0000 code every second as long as the engine was running.
Talked to Direct Link and they were aware of the problem but had no idea if it could be solved. Seams to be a communication issue. Anyone have an idea if this can be overcome.
A larger question. They sell splitters for the OBD2 port but what are they used for if communication is an issue?
