Anyone, in Des Moines, Iowa feel like helping a fellow Super Duty owner out? Due to my family growing, I need a bigger vehicle. And well, what is bigger than an Excursion? Problem is I live in CA. I don't really want to fly to Des Moines to check this one out. So, I can kick in a bit of a monetary "reward" if someone would be willing to crawl through, button flip, and test drive an 05 Excursion. I know this is odd, but finding a good, used Excursion is getting harder and harder. So, PM me if you have any interest.

Well, never mind about the excursion. I ran the VIN through Autocheck and Carfax, and its a salvage. Dang....Thanks anyway to those who read this.

 

Is that one at a car lot, black limited diesel with around 105k miles on it?

Stay away from vehicles up in this area since the body will be rotting away. I went to Colorado to pick up an Oklahoma baby. No rust now, and I don't plan on driving in winter. Unless there's 90" of fresh powder, and I can go around pulling out all the dirtymax boys.

 

The one I saw was at dealer that they claimed was from the south. That's the only reason I would even consider looking there.

 

I second what 2005 Ex Limited stated. Rust is evil! With that said, if you find one in Minnesota, I would be glad to check it out for ya! Good luck!
