no start, just click.
so i have a 351 I got in a junkyard that i'm swapping in. got everything hooked up and when i try to start it I get a click. I tested the starter and it seemed to work(gear moved up and started spinning). When I first tried I heard a grinding noise but the engine was moving(slowly). Before that I was able to crank the engine with a breaker. I then realized I had to oil the cylinders so I pulled the plugs and squirted some marvels mystery oil in. I can crank it smoothly with a breaker bar with a little grunt(no rough spots) . Now when I try to start it, it just clicks. 2 different batteries both with time to charge overnight. Any suggestions welcome, could it be the relay, solenoid, any way to test? Feel free to ask for clarification.
