Hey Everyone!

Hey Florida folks,

I'm new to the forums as I bought my first Ford truck back in May.

Its a '66 F100 Fleetside shortbed, pantina paint, 3 on the tree, and 352 under the hood.
I'm in love with the truck and can't wait to get more work done to it. Going to be a resto-mod. (currently trying to find some steelies to replace the orange wheels as we speak)

I started off life in the late model import crowd, but been backing in to domestics and have put a lot of time and effort into autocrossing my 2010 camaro. Knowing as much as I do about new cars, I know very little about old school, carbs, and big block, haha. So I am eager to learn and get my truck looking right.

Any local knowledge as well as meets (especially in the Central FL area) would be awesome - been a member forums for many many years (srtforums.com, camaro5.com, tamparacing, etc) but brand spanking new to FTE

Hi David, welcome to FTE and the Florida Chapter.

The truck looks to be in pretty decent shape. Love that body style.

As for finding parts, don't know how it is now but Webster use to be a great place to go to find just about anything. They're next Car & Cycle swap meet is 09/06. Hate that its on a Sunday.

The Turkey Rod Run in Daytona is where we've always found things you'd never expect to find for both our 41 & EB but that's not til November.
