Backup sensor or camera

I bought the truck in 2005 but now that my kids are driving it I need to add a rear camera or sensors. Any suggestions? Thanks

i had a Pioneer double DIN touch screen headunit in my last truck, which you can get for under $300 new now. i tried one of the cheap Amazon cameras to go with it it, and to my surprise it worked quite well.. was less than $15 at the time. maybe more than you're looking to spend total, but if you've thought about a better head unit anyways it's was a great setup.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking at the hitchscan for $200 but your idea sounds (pun intended) better. Thanks
