We just recently traded in my wife's Expedition on a 2016 Explorer Platinum with the 3.5L Ecoboost. She wanted something a little more nimble. We really like driving it, tons of power as other have mentioned. I think the seats are a bit undersized, especially when compared to her Expedition and my F-250 so I'm curious what I'll think about it after a long trip...hopefully the massaging seats will help.

With regard to the lack of boost gauge, has anyone tried TorquePro? I use it on my 6.7L and have a boost gauge on one of my screens.

I haven't been in the new ones, but I think the seats are similar to my '13. And yes, they are not very comfortable. The best seats in an Explorer were the bucket seats from about 95-97.
