Still have factory suspension and wheels. Coker wants $1250 for bias looking radials. I do not care about the factory look, rather just grab some regular radials. Will any 5 x 5.5 wheel work? What do you have on your ford f1 for wheels and tires? Pics/links are helpful. I am due for inspection at the end of the month, and my tires are my weak link at the moment.

I know you can mount regular tubeless radials on the factory wheels, but I don't want to out of pure safety...my 8 year old owns the passenger seat.

I have 225-75R16 on my stock rims tubeless. No problems.

Neither of my two local tire shops will mount and balance them on the stock rims, they both told me no way without the safety bead on the rims. I'm kinda SOL around here apparently.

The Coker radials included tubes in the $1250 quote.

Since you don't care about originality, you should be able to go to your local salvage yard and get a set of 15" wheels for cheap from any F-100/150 up to '96, which will have the same bolt pattern as your F1, then install a set of 225-75R15's on them and be good to go. Out the door for half the price of the Cokers.

My wheels came off a 88 Bronco. They are 8 x 15 , 5 on 5-1/2 and clear a disk rotor.

These are the American Racing Steelies with 235-78-15s. 8 inch rims IIRC. It doesn't look like it but front and rear are the same.

These are Ford pickup wheels off a 75. Just painted to match the body and a trim ring added. BTW, your stock wheels were never meant to carry tubless tires. They may well not hold air as that was the job of the tube.

So these will work with stock suspension, and clear everything properly?

Suspension is bone stock. I have only driven about 35 miles with these but had no rubbing or other issues. I used the same size tires on Ford rims for about 3 or 4 years before starting the tear down. Never had a problem.

Sorry, no. I bought them through Sears about 12 years ago. Threw the boxes out this spring when I finally installed them. I think these are what I have though.
