I too have bed liner on the floor, and up the back cab wall. No difference in sound. Although I did mine for rust proofing purposes and have the floor mat back in which will be replaced with carpet someday. If you're looking to make it quieter with the bed liner, it won't work like you'd think. Makes a hell of a sealer though.
I really like the way that looks DB. I think I will have plenty of room to put my speaker wires in some small conduit and keep it in the channel under the driver's side door "sill" out of harms way. If I go the spray in bed liner route I may look for some nice thick removable floor mats. Did you do the work yourself or have it done? If you did it yourself where did you purchase the spray in bed liner materials? How hard was it to do? How is the noise with spray in bed liner? Thank You
I run Weathertech floor mats.
I did it myself. I use AL's Liner also known as SCORPION. A 2 gallon kit(thats what I used in the bronco) costs $167. And the gun to spray it costed $49.
I have done quite a few projects with it and I am VERY pleased with the product
I have taken 2 hour trips with the bronco and have no more noise than stock. A diesel may be a different story though

Reason: spare = spray (fix typo)
The more I read about the spray in bed liner the more I like the idea. I am going to check out the AL's liner and see if my job MIGHT be doable with one gallon of liner. I am only wanting to spray the floor board of one regular cab truck. I really appreciate your input gentlemen.
1 Gallon barely did it for me, although I did down in the corners, under the door sil plates and up the back wall and put it in thick. If you're just doing the floor 1 gallon should be plenty.

I would just bet that You can still get a factory Ford floor mat.
Check with NumberDummy Bill. They are prolly still on a shelf
at some dealers. Mine in my Bronk is still in great shape. It
may have been replaced at one time before I got it. If so it fits
like a custom glove.
I had a gallon of Herculiner so I used that. Decided to get my bed professionally done so I decided to put the stuff where the sun doesn't shine. Figured it wouldn't fade and degrade where it doesn't have any sun exposure. Also put it in my rear wheel wells and no problems yet. The stuff sucks with sun exposure though.

Yeah, you really can't compare herculiner(1 part with sand added) with Rhino, Line-X, Al's etc(a 3 part expanding epoxy coating)
