Sort of a round about PCM test step.
Are you getting any ICP and IPR readings and what are they?

When it's trying to start have you looked at unplugging the ICP
to see if that will let it start?

A half shell FICM replacement will start, a complete FICM replacement needs programming before it will start.

Unless it comes from one of the places that can program it or out
of a truck that was running.

New doen not equal a good part.
Ohm out each injector through the injector harness at the ficm connections. If there all under 5 ohms then in theory the injectors and harness are good. That leaves 2 options you failed to make a correct connection or the new ficm is in fact bad.

Lol I also need a hubcap for a 75 pinto hatchback. Anyone?

where can I find a schematic of the wires in the harness connectors to test each injector? So from the ficm harness thru the injector there should be 5ohms resistance on each?

Really should be about 3 ohms but lead resistance, wire length.. etc. Under 5ohms is correct.
I dont have a pin out but there maybe one in the tech folder.
IM sure one of the guys here will also have a copy to upload.

you should also check for open to closed coil shorts at the ficm connector as well as the above posted info.

If my Monday your still scratching you head on this one give the guys at
FICMRepair.com - FORD Powerstroke 6.0 FICM Repair, PHP Tuning and Truck Parts
a call. I herar that Ed took a real vacation and will be back Tuesday.
But some of the skilled people will be there one of them can help you out.
BUT let them know where you got it. If they get you going then you may
want to give them a little something something for the time. You do know that
Ed has a test bed that they check the units on before they leave. Also be sure
to check for bent pins or pushed out pin sockets.

Got a weird one here folks

Your chasing the wrong thing. P0671 through p0678 are glow plug codes. These truck will not start at hardly any temp without glow plugs. Make sure both connectors are seated on the gp control module. If they are plan on new glow plugs and harnesses.

Unplugging things is an easy way to troubleshoot sensors or some electrical glitches, but it creates problems when you are using codes to track down problems. Be sure to write down your troubleshooting information (and in chronological order). That way GP codes (that weren't there originally) don't throw you off track when you get them later (after trying to start w/ the gpcm unplugged).
