Rocker arm interference

Bought some high ratio rocker shafts with arms the other day. When I tore them down they had two low ratio arms with 14 high ratio arms on the two shafts. When I cleaned them up I found the arms were apparently hitting the valve spring retainers.

I just have a stock 292 camshaft (I believe).

Is there a way to check it? It's currently out and on the bench.
My real concern is them striking the retainers again. I'd really hate to mess up my rebuilt rockers & shafts, my recent head rebuild or even worse my fresh engine rebuild.
Anything to be concerned about?

Just for clarification, after you bought these were the marks there before you installed them on your engine? Did you try them on your engine and check for interference? I may be wrong but those marks almost look like they are from a grinding wheel were someone tried surfacing the tips..
I don't recall stock cams having stamped numbers, thats usually aftermarket doings.

The rockers have not been installed as of yet. I got them just like they are in the pictures.
My engine(292 with a .030 over bore) was bought from a guy that really didn't know anything about it. I since have found out it is a 64 block (&.030 over bore) with STD Rods & Mains. I've had the block cleaned and checked as well as new CAM bearings installed.
I also bought a pair of ECZ-G heads and have had them reworked with new exhaust valve seats and seals as well as a valve job.
I want to install the high ratio rocker arms with new shafts on the ECZ-G heads and install them both on my block. I am probably going to fully pressurize the rockers to try to prevent galling.

Just to my eye the marks are to close to the tips and not concentric to the where the valve wear is so I don't think they were hitting on the retainer. Something just doesn't look right. I don't know if those areas would cause cracks to eventually start?
