7.3 head bolts
Question on the head bolts for out 99-02 engines. Can we retrofit head bolts from say a IDI engine so we do not have the TTY bolts? I am trying to figure out a way around this TTY and not having to buy ARP $500 head studs.

There are several sources of "stock"head bolts on Ebay or through your local automotive machine shop. I think I paid about $135.00 delivered, for a full set (both heads) this spring. I think I could have saved a little by shopping harder.
BTW, the stock bolts are not TTY, they actually can be reused, but I prefer not to.
