Hello all. My wife has a 98 EB 4x4 Expedition and I always felt like it sat lower than the old 2000 expedition sport 4x4. So I looked and have found hit and miss info saying the EB is lower than the other models due to the air ride, but hers doesn't have it. So I compared it to a coworkers xlt 4x4 and sure enough, a solid 2" shorter front and back. I noticed wikipedia states the 97-98 was 2" shorter than the 99-2000 and about .5" shorter than the 01-02. What is the root cause of these differences?
