No updates really, I have been busy with school finals and holidays. I've been getting rained on the past few weeks. I would like to fix my Speed Control soon but I am looking for some stuff to troubleshoot it.

Thanks for the support!

I got to pull my friends '06 Dodge Ram 2500 through campus because his transmission went out (shocker, right?) so that was nice I have photo evidence of it too. I'll probably be helping him put in a new trans when he gets one.

Okay, this is something that has been bothering me for some time lately.

I have installed the Punisher Valve Body in my truck, I have replaced both fuel pumps about 6 months ago as well as the fuel filter and checked the pressure with the key on and with engine running and everything seems to be right where it's supposed to be.

Now the problem I have been having for the past month or so is that I will be driving and the city that I live in does not really allow for speeds above 40 mph I tend to stay around 25 mph due to traffic and residential areas etc. Sometimes while accelerating from a red light or from slowing down the truck will shift gears but it won't really, I can tell that the truck went from 2nd to 3rd but it will not continue to accelerate no matter how much I push the gas pedal. The truck will eventually pick up speed (as though it forgot that it shifted gears and puts you back into your seat). Sometimes if I feather the pedal I can get it to act as though it shifted gears after a couple seconds.

I am at a loss, I have no idea I feel like it's something with fuel delivery but it would have to be at the injectors since everything else is new and has been checked. The problem will happen on either the front or rear tank I just really don't know and I am not the kind of guy to try to show off because that's how you break things, so I have adopted an old lady mentality when it comes to driving now because not only could I break something showing a guy why my OBS is better than his '06 Silverado I never know when the truck will recreate this problem and make me look dumb going 25mph staring at taillights.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

How long has it been since you've done a tune-up? It sounds like a mis-fire to me.

I did plugs and wires the same time I did the fuel pumps and fuel filter, about 6 months ago during the summer.

If I could ask... What is an MLPS? And I'd be interested in knowing where you got those tires. They look like a really great deal!

In Post 19 of the thread, he states the tires came from BergSupply, and he found them on Ebay. Berg Supply is right here in North Carolina, and i actually called them last week, because of how they look on this truck. They have a set of MTR's in that they are asking 600 plus tax. They are about 75-80% tread.

Also, I went to school in Cullowhee, and worked in Cashiers years ago, just down the road from you.

I've said it a bunch of times already. I wish we could all speak English! In my opinion they ruin a good story and I keep misplacing my acronyms cheat sheet! There's nothing more annoying than coming across an acronym! I'll add to my list but I won't use it. I know there's more than one of me out there the doesn't like acronyms....maybe?

Thanks for the compliments I got around to doing some stuff on the truck recently and I want to update you guys on things and problems I've come into.

First, I am still sorta having the issues with the fuel delivery or whatever the issue is (I am thinking it is more trans related but I've just gone through the trans last year and I don't see how it could be) The issue is more intermittent now than ever.

Second I got around to painting my wheels, before they were just a flat black that I just rattle canned over the old paint needless to say they looked like crap but I have now gone to a Dupli-color graphite wheel coating. I think they look much better not glossy or too flashy. (I know pics or it didn't happen, my phone is broken sorta- should have some coming soon)

Third, the girlfriend and I purchased an '84 Bronco II that I have been spending most of my time on for the past month or so and it is coming together nicely. Will also post pictures of that later in the week.

Twin trucks

Hello, enjoyed your build and pics. The crazy thing is, I bought a 1994 F350 crew cab long bed with a 460 jus like yours but white. I had the same transmission problem, i had the same hose bust also! I also bought 16.5 rims and found some military take offs. I also am planning on the RSK, but from sky. I also am looking for captains chairs for the font seats, AND I have some body damage on the drivers side. The only thing different so far is Im planning on adding duel shocks for the front to hold the 37's down better. I am going with the "v" springs in front. I also was just at the point of welding up some killer differential covers. Just got an email from Paul yesterday for my punisher valve body price! Kinda funny how two people have same ideas on the same truck 1000 miles apart! Good luck. You inspired me to do pics as I go and post. I was also looking on CL for a camper cap! Lol Jim
