If this is NOT what should be connected, can someone tell me what hose I should be looking for?

It is not a clear photo. The manifold, with all the hoses appears to be for your vacuum. We cannot see where your hose has come loose from; you need to perform that task.

Also, I do not see a vacuum boost near the master cylinder reservoir. Perhaps that reservoir is a remote unit or you have a hydra-boost system utilizing hydraulics.

Yes this is a van. I had a job to do so I plugged it in and the brakes were back to 100%. This fixed the problem.

Congratulations! Where did you "plug it back in" at?

Looks like the main hose from the vac pump came off. You don't see the brake booster because (this being a van) it's tucked in under the dog-house; actually you can see a bit of it way back there. Van is definitely different "terrain"; just look at how the cowl is virtually directly above the alternator and A/C compressor. Some tight quarters, there.

Plugged it back in to the vacuum pump under the alternator. It's a real bitch working on vans. I can't believe mechanics work on vans daily. I would quit. Trucks on the other hand, no problem. Just changed spark plugs on my chevy truck, so much room to work with.

That being said, the e350 is a beast.
