Body Mount Part# e150-e350 80's models

I have been researching body mount and hardware part numbers in order to help myself and others I am trying to verify these are the correct part numbers and what years they will fit.

According to the 1985 Ford manual on CD, these numbers are good for
1985 Club Wagons, Supervans - Superwagons, Cutaway - Parcel Delivery E-150 through E-350

All the above 1985 models appear to use the same part numbers for the upper and lower mounts along with Bumpers that are spaced in between the Bumper Mounts. The quantity of Body Mounts and Bumpers needed varies with the type of van.

The part numbers from the manual do not have a prefix or suffix they are call out numbers only.

Upper Absorber - 00154
Lower Absorber - 00155
Bumper ----------- 5B097

There are also upper and lower retainers.
The upper retainer looks like a cupped washer with a hollow stem that inserts into the Upper Absorber and is hollow to accommodate the bolt.

The lower retainer looks much the same as the upper retainer but with a nut built on it. These part numbers appear to be the same across all 1985 model vans.

Upper Absorber Retainer - 01A42
Lower Absorber Retainer - 00151

NOTE:
There is a possible misprint on part# 00151, possibly it should be #00157. My manual shows the part # to be 00151 while a part search only turns up part # 00157

All of the body bolts appear to have the same part number.
part# 387165-S2 = bolt - hex. hd. - 7/16''-14 x 6 1/2''
EXCEPT
The very front body mount bolts.
Part# 385886-S2 = Bolt-hex. hd.-7/16"-14 x 4 1/8"
Torque on the bolt is specified as 41-67 NM = 30-50 FT LBS

On the very front mount there is also an additional washer Part# 388235-S2
There are also some shims Part# 00145

I am also trying to look up the actual complete ford part number and their revision numbers. I hope to post them later..

Annaleigh have you looked at urethane bushing suppliers like Pro-Thane or Energy Suspension? They tend to have quite a selection of generic or will-fit bushings that might fill the need for body mount bushings, most measuring within range of being close to exact fits.

Worth a look maybe?

It took some time JWA but I finally replied!

I wanted to update this thread with some information for those needing to replace their body mounts. I have a 1980-1989 ford parts manual and it shows the mounts all being the same except that an E350 uses 2 more then the 150 or 250. they also have a different part number which I do not know at this time..

The part numbers in my second post are correct and they seem to apply to some vans from the mid 70's and up into the 2000's

On ebay and some other sellers the price seems to be around $20 each. Well I came across Coachbusparts.com and they list "what appears to be the same part numbers" but at a much lower price.

If you need body mounts and read this info,,,PLEASE double check the part numbers as I have not replaced mine yet so I can not say for certain that the body bushings are the exact same though they do carry the same ford part number. They also sell some bolts that look like they "may be" the body mount bolt.

Upper Retainer & Absorber

Bus Part Number: 199001
Vendor #: BM-8C2Z-1000154-A

Price: $4.55 PCS

and

Lower Absorber - Ford

Bus Part Number: 199004
Vendor #: BM-D5UZ-1000155-AA

Price: $4.55 PCS
