AOD for M5R2??

AOD for M5R2??
I have checked lots of messages for the details about swapping from a manual to auto. I think I can handle all that. What I need to know is will the AOD from a 1990 Bronco 4wd with a 351 bolt up to my 300 I6?
I have a chance to buy one for about $150 with 83K on it, converter included.
Also - I don't understande the CPS?? I saw a post in here about making sure the "new" tranny had provisions for the CPS. what is this and how do I make sure of that?
