Hi everyone,
Im new to the forums here. But heres what I got.
I just bought a 96 f150, the truck has been sitting for the past 7 years. 5L 302, automatic, and 2 wheel drive.
Ive done a quick check over on the truck already, and Ill need to pull the engine and transmission out.
I bought the truck for the single purpose to having fun with it. I want to make around 400-500 horse power and torque.
I am not on a budget with the truck, but Im also not rich.
Any help or ideas you guys have got would greatly be appreciated.
First figure out what your doing for motor... A long block ready to drop in with stock Horsepower is 1300ish at Oreillys/Twilightzone. For about $4000 you can get the Performance Engine from Jasper. (300ish HP)
Thats what I would do. Figure out engine first then build from there
